Save the original Taobao, Weidian, 1688, or Yupoo destination—not only the shopping-agent wrapper. An agent link can make a source easier to open, but it does not prove that the item, seller, price, photos, or stock are current.
Separate the source from the agent wrapper
A source marketplace hosts the underlying listing or catalog. A shopping agent may display that source inside its own ordering interface. When a Mulebuy link contains enough information to recover the source, keep both versions: the agent-formatted link for convenience and the original source link for comparison.
| Link layer | What it can tell you | What to save |
|---|---|---|
| Taobao / Weidian | The live product or shop destination, including current variants when available. | Full URL, item identity, selected variant, and date checked. |
| 1688 | A marketplace listing that may include wholesale quantities or tiered pricing. | Full URL plus the quantity and variant assumptions behind the displayed price. |
| Yupoo | An image catalog that may not be a complete transaction page. | Catalog URL and any separate source link shown with it. |
| Agent interface | A formatted view, translated details, or an ordering workflow. | Agent URL only as a secondary reference beside the original destination. |
Why the same source appears under different agent names
A saved link may have come through Mulebuy, Hoobuy, CNFans, AllChinaBuy, Superbuy, Sugargoo, CSSBuy, Kakobuy, or Hubbuy. That name tells you which interface someone used; it does not tell you whether the underlying product is different. The original marketplace URL is the part worth keeping.
Do not assume two rows are equivalent just because both resolve to Taobao or Weidian. Compare the item identifier, live images, variants, seller context, and update date. A renamed or reformatted link can still lead to a changed, expired, or unrelated listing.
A five-step link handoff
- 1Open the saved destination
Confirm whether it is a source page, shop page, image catalog, redirect, or agent wrapper.
- 2Recover the original source
Look for the Taobao, Weidian, 1688, or Yupoo URL and copy it without exposing account information.
- 3Match the identity
Compare the item ID, category, title, images, color, size, and other live options with the spreadsheet row.
- 4Recheck context
Record the date, price unit, quantity assumption, estimated weight, and any detail that could change.
- 5Use a new interface cautiously
Treat the result as a fresh page to review. A successful conversion is not a quality or seller check.
Choose the next step from what you have
If you have a marketplace URL, identify whether it comes from Taobao, Weidian, 1688, or Yupoo and keep that address beside any converted version. If you only have a spreadsheet row, check the category, photos, size information, price context, and date before opening more links.
If you already know the product type, go straight to the matching category instead of scrolling through a broad list. For account, payment, order, coupon, service-status, or policy questions, use Mulebuy’s current official interface; an independent directory cannot see or resolve account details.
Compatibility is not verification
A link converter can change URL format. It cannot authenticate an item, verify a seller, guarantee quality, predict shipping cost, or confirm that a listing will remain available. The safest useful record is small: original source URL, agent-formatted URL if needed, item and variant identity, date checked, and the evidence still missing.
